For this thesis, I have used the third edition of Benito Gallo's book.

This photographic volume was conceived as a family album, in which we wanted to tell a hundred years of life, work, friendship of the Italians with each other and with the Luxembourgers. The reader will meet, page after page, the representatives of the whole great Italian family: from the workers of the mines and the steel industry, to the construction companies, to the businesses and other professions; from the leaders of art and sport, to the animators of associative life, to the mediators of intercultural relations. It's all a story made of images, leave us as real professionals or simple amateurs. It is an exciting story, which guides us along the paths of a century and helps us to understand some aspects of a country, Luxembourg, which is among the smallest in Europe by geographical extension and among the largest for the richness of the different cultures that coexist and intertwine on its territory. (Benito Gallo)
